Anyway, here's my awesome toasted pumpkin seed recipe!
Preheat oven to 300
After separating seeds from pulp, rinse in a strainer.
Place on a lightly oiled cookie sheet and bake for 20 min. This dries the water off the seeds.
After seeds are dried, raise oven temp to 325.
Toss seeds in oil (I use olive oil) and salt liberally.
Place back on cookie sheet and bake for another 25 min.
*keep an eye on them to make sure they don't burn!
Remove from oven and enjoy!!!
I've known people who use different seasonings besides salt. I bet brown sugar would be good, or some kind of Indian seasoning mix. Try it out and have fun with it!
